Movies on the mind

Perhaps because it is snowing and cold, and time to hunker down with a few good movies, or perhaps because every year around the Oscars, I start making "best of" lists, but I have movies on the mind. More precisely, what are the best environmental films? Sure, Inconvenient Truth pops to mind, for its impact, as do a roll call of documentaries like "King Corn" and "The Cove" (what? you haven't seen The Cove yet? Oh, just won Best Documentary for 2009? About Flipper, the Japanese dolphin slaughters?) I haven't seen the 11th Hour yet, so I can't coment.
And then there are more Hollywood films, like "Erin Brockovich" and "Free Willy" and dont' forget about the, er, ground-breaking "Splash," with a not-so-crazy-at-the-time and very sexy D. Hannah and a young, just took off his Bosom Buddies dress Tom Hanks. Or, perhaps a bit more of a stretch, but Vince Vaughen plays an auto designer in "The Dilemma" who is trying to make an electric car that has an engine that roars and rocks like a muscle car. That's sort of environmentally-friendly, right?
We'd love to hear your favorite "green films."
