What do boxing and sustainability have in common?

Posted: 10:10AM June 3rd, 2011 | Comments

Sometimes reminders about sustainability can come from the oddest sources:  Like the professional world of boxing. Last week, Bernard Hopkins won the World Boxing Light-Heavyweight title.  He becomes the oldest person to win a major title in boxing.  His recipe for strength and power in his “old” age:  His diet.  A former thug and convict, Hopkins gave up beer, pizza and candy.

After the judges’ decision, he indulged with what he calls his one vice:  Three bites from cheesecake.

Check out an inspirational story about personal health, which, after all, is the beginning point for sustainability, right?
