A think-and-drink. A networking night. An eye-opener, a back-slapper, and a reason to get together.
The Eco-Salon series is one year old! Over the course of an evening we focus on one sustainability theme. The events have been wildly popular (but politely fun and mature in their execution).
We have talked about the health of the lakes with local experts and activists, we have hosted elected officials to Q&A about how to improve public transit, we get educators to talk about sustainability in the classroom. We even played "Family Feud." WHAT WILL WE THINK OF NEXT?
Join us on May 14 at 5 PM for "A New Generation of Eco-Leaders"
Working on everything from public health to neighborhood stability to food access to energy reduction... an emerging generation of leaders is tackling (and solving!) sustainability issues in Madison.
Our guests will include:
Joel Charles, M.D./M.P.H. Candidate, UWSMPH
Joe Maldonado, College Continuation Manager, Boys & Girls Club
Gabrielle & Natalie Hinahara, founders, Growing Food & Sustainability
Admission is always free.
There will be drawings for Four Star Video & coupons for Union Cab!
